Aquatic space
Two beautiful outdoor swimming pools secured, reserved for camping guests and exposed to the mild Dordogne sun throughout the day:
• One rectangular shape (13.5 m long), convenient for morning lengths, will delight the most sporty!
• The other fun, with a large pool and embellished with an island and a bridge, from which the children will have pleasure to make a little plouf and play hide-and-seek.

Each swimming pool is equipped with an independent paddling pool, with 40 cm of water for the safety of the youngest: moments of games and crazy laughs guaranteed!

The deckchairs stretch out their armrests on the beaches of the two swimming pools, to read or watch the little ones who are barboting.

Dates and opening times of the outdoor aquatic space:
- Every day from 10am to 7.30pm
- The swimming pool and its paddling pool open all season, not heated
- Aqualudic swimming pool and paddling pool open only during summer school holidays, not heated

NB: Bath shorts and long bermudas are not permitted. For the comfort of all, balloons, fries and other games are prohibited in the aquatic area. Access to the pool is secure, pools are not monitored. Dogs are strictly forbidden. Minor children must be accompanied by their parents.

Not to mention the Dordogne in direct access, 300 m of river along the campground: bathe in nature at any time of the day, nothing like: its large pebble beach to land, its crystal clear water to cool off and a unique panorama, all in a framework classified major sites Midi Pyrénées.

The campsite is labeled "fishing" and it is classified river of 2nd category. Exercise your talents from fly fishing to lure fishing!
Every Tuesday afternoon, Romain, an instructor of the Federation of Fisheries, will take care of a small group of children to teach them different fishing techniques and will raise their awareness of the protection of natural aquatic environments.

The water base of Saint-Sozy offers many nautical activities to live with the family, the opportunity to practice kayaking or canoeing (with extra charge).

Some activities may be temporarily unavailable, depending on the weather and the official sanitary conditions in force during your stay.

Services
Go to the bar " Chez Sophie" : One falls under the charm of the old one with this farm restored with taste, a decoration made of wood, iron and reeds in a « brocante » spirit. Open all season (times vary according to season and attendance): in the day in low season, in the day and in the evening in July/August.
On the terrace for the morning coffee shop, inside to look for the cool behind its large stone walls on hot days or around the braseros in the evening to taste a glass of local wine under a starry sky. Eco-friendly atmosphere, perfect for chilling in peace!

Every evening, during the school holidays of July/August, and once a week in the low season, a food-truck completes the catering offer; Not to mention a pizza distributor cooked on demand and operational 24h24 to satisfy your small hungers at any time of day or night! practical, right?

All season round, order delicious gourmet baskets, composed of 100% Dordogne Valley products with choice, slate picnic basket of the lot, vegetarian, aperitif or breakfast. Upon reservation directly at the reception of the campsite, 36 hours before arrival and available on your site (with surcharge).

Need a soft parenthesis to take care of yourself? The Wellness area, set up in the old farm, offers treatments for a privileged time (with an extra charge): Sauna, Balneotherapy and Massages (on appointment with an outside worker).

The campsite's grocery store is full of quality local products: organic wines, salted spreads, sweet sweets, products around the duck, and especially an excellent "home" nut oil, produced and marketed on site.

For your comfort, also available: laundry (with surcharge), free wifi at the reception, relaxation area with books and board games, iron ready, vacuum cleaner and safe at the reception if needed.

The Village du Port campsite is part of a genuine eco-responsible approach: waste management (household waste for chickens or in the compost bin), selective sorting, reduction of pollutants, better management of water (artesian wells for the watering of the garden and plantations with untreated water) and biodiversity (verger of old species replanted in order to favor the pollination of bees, insect hotel, hedgehogs and squirrels). An opportunity to introduce you to these everyday practices.
