Saint-Georges-de-Didonne is located on the Atlantic coast, 60km south of La Rochelle and around a hundred km north of Bordeaux.
By road, the adjoining town of Royan is fairly well served by the A 10 motorway, exit 35 coming from Paris (520km) or Saintes (40km) and by exit 37 coming from Bordeaux (130km) .
