Description of the establishment
On the edge of the Lac du Der, facing the village-museum of the Pays du Der and on the edge of the forest, La Maison des Bergers offers a particularly preserved setting: an old wood-paned farm set up in a fully enclosed park of 4,000 m2, recognized as a bird sanctuary (LPO building). The cottage is an excellent starting point for walking or cycling on the shores of the lake and on the forest roads.
Lake Der offers a wide range of outdoor activities: wildlife observation, cycling routes, hiking, and, depending on the season, water sports and fishing. Nature lovers will appreciate the quiet atmosphere of the site, conducive to disconnection, while remaining close to the points of interest of the area. At the end of the day, the enclosed park allows the moments to be extended serenely outside, in a privileged environment where silence and the presence of birds are an integral part of the experience.
