What are the current rules for traveling in Europe?
Current rules for traveling in Europe may vary from country to country. It is important to check https://www.dfa.ie/travel/ before leaving, to be sure what rules to expect in selected destination.
In all European countries travellers are admitted based on vaccination certificate, negative test result or recovery certificate. As of July 1, 2021, EU Digital COVID Certificate is available to all EU member countries. It can be presented in digital and in paper form. Please note: entry rules can change and you must re-check the rules of your destination country before you travel.
Can I go on holiday if I am not fully vaccinated?
It is not mandatory to be vaccinated to travel across Europe.The EU Digital COVID Certificate is issued to persons who have been vaccinated against COVID-19, received negative test result or recovered from COVID-19. Entry requirements may vary per destination country. Current information on travel conditions can be found on https://www.dfa.ie/travel/
I have not been vaccinated, can I cancel or change my booking?
It is not mandatory to be vaccinated to travel within Europe. Although the rules regarding travel to other countries can differ and change per country, EU countries respect the Digital EU COVID Certificate issued to persons who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 OR have received a negative test OR have recovered from COVID.
I need a negative PCR test result, can I cancel or change my booking?
It is not mandatory to present a negative PCR test to travel within Europe. Although the rules regarding travel to other countries can differ and change per country, EU countries respect the UK's official Covid Vacination Certificate and the Digital EU COVID Certificate issued to persons who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 OR have received a negative test OR have recovered from COVID.
Myself or someone in my travel group tests positive before I go on holiday. What are my options?
In case of cancellation of holiday, standard cancellation rules apply.We strongly recommended to take out cancellation insurance that includes COVID-19 cancellation cover. Cancellation insurance is available that covers claims for travellers who tested positive before their holiday.
Does my health insurance also cover abroad?
If you possess private health insurance, it usually reimburses medical expenses abroad in the case of emergency up to certain financial levels. Please contact your health insurance provider for full information on your cover abroad. It is recommended that in addition to any private health insurance that you may have that you still take out adequate travel insurance for all persons travelling. This way you avoid unpleasant surprises, and you can enjoy your holiday carefree!

Can I cancel without costs if there is negative travel advice?
No, free cancellation is not possible in case of negative travel advice. Destinations with negative travel advice are still open and welcome tourists. Entry is still possible upon presentation of proof of vaccination or a negative test.
What happens if there are sudden travel restrictions during my holiday?
It is of course annoying when travel restrictions are introduced suddenly during your holiday. If this happens, we will do our best to assist you. We will try to find a suitable solution with you, taking into account the advice and guidelines of the government and responsible authorities. To be best prepared for your holiday, we recommend that you always take out cancellation travel insurance that includes travel restrictions related to COVID-19. You can check the current situation in your holiday destination on the website of your countries Department of Foreign Affairs.
Mandatory quarantine in your home country is not a reason to cancel free of charge.
On returning from holiday, there is a mandatory quarantine in my home country. Can I cancel for free?
Do I have to show a vaccination certificate or a negative test at the campsite?
"This might differ per campsite. If you want to be sure of the rules of the campsite of your choice, please check their direct website for the latest information. You may be asked to present the same documents that are needed to cross the border of your destination / transit country. The most current information per country with regard to travel advice and regulations can be found on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs."
Can I enjoy the campsite safely?
Yes, because at the campsite you are mostly outdoors. Research has shown that the chance of getting infected outside is smaller than inside. In addition, you will probably travel with your own car and use your own accommodation at the campsite. Plus, our campsites have a safety plan that complies with the guidelines of their local health authorities. This means an pleasant environment, where you can still keep a good distance from each other. You can easily keep your distance in public areas and facilities too. To make things extra safe, extra cleaning is also done on the campsite. Your accommodation will be thoroughly cleaned before your arrival.
When will I get any of my unused voucher back?
Un-used vouchers cannot be refunded however we can extend voucher validity for you to travel next season.

Can I change or cancel my reservation which due to Corona restrictions was moved from 2021 to 2022 season?
You can, at any point, amend or cancel your booking, even if it was moved from 2021 to 2022 season. However, free cancellation is not possible. Our normal cancellation fees will apply.
