All the way to the north of the Netherlands, where the horizon seems endless and the Wadden Sea is nearby, lies Camping de Breede. Near the village of Warffum and just a few kilometers from the coast, you will experience how quiet the Groningen country can be. Except in the swimming pool the children laughed and laughed with pleasure!

Grass, trees, space
The campsite is located on a large, open lawn surrounded by trees. In the middle of that field, the swimming pool shines a splash-ready oasis where children enjoy themselves immediately. As they dive into the water, you sink into a spot in the grass or on your terrace. Here you enjoy the space and the silence.

Walking, adventure!
And do you want to do something special? Then one of the most beautiful nature reserves in the Netherlands is practically around the corner: the Wadden Sea, where you can wade across the bottom of the sea. An adventure you will never forget under the safe supervision of a guide. Please inform reception about this top excursion.

Glamping at ease
At Camping de Breede you will stay in a spacious safari tent for up to six people. This combines the outdoor feeling of camping with the comfort of a furnished accommodation. The safari tents have:

• 2 sleeping cabins with real beds
• a living room with kitchenette (fridge, hob and coffee maker)
• a dining area
• a spacious wooden porch with awning

The sanitary facilities are located in neat and well maintained sanitary buildings on the campsite.

Play, swim and relax
The heart of the campsite is the heated outdoor swimming pool (about 23 °C), with a separate bath for the little ones. Around it lies the spacious lawn where something always happens. There is plenty to do for children:

• multiple playgrounds
• a trampoline
• an indoor room for manoeuvre (stained small bunkers)
• free use of skelters and recumbents

Whoever wants to slow down can go to the wellness centre at the campsite, where massages and beauty treatments are offered. In addition, in the environment there are opportunities to tennis or at fish.

Eating and enjoying
For a snack and a drink you can visit the brasserie and snack point on the campsite. Simple dishes and local specialities are served here. In the summer months you can order fresh bread and croissants in the morning for a relaxing breakfast.

Discover the North of the Netherlands
The area of Warffum is typical Gronings: open landscapes, small villages and a horizon that never seems to end. And of course there is the Wadden Sea, only 7 kilometers away. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of Europe's most special natural areas. Walk along, discover the islands via Lauwer's eye or simply enjoy the silence and grandeur of the landscape.
Other nice trips nearby are:

• the outdoor museum Het Hoogeland in Warffum
• the historic estate Breedenborg next to the campsite
• the lively city of Groningen, about 25 minutes drive
