Don't miss the famous market in Cavallino every Tuesday with its tradi-tional products. Buy your souvenirs every Friday evening (from June to September) at a small market in the main square in Cavallino, just 4 km away from the holiday village. There are firework displays all along the coast at the end of August when the sky lights up in a moving spectacle covering 14 km of beaches between Cavallino and Treporti. A show on a massive scale.
VENICE AND THE ISLANDS OF MURANO, BURANO AND TORCELLO: From Punta Sabbioni you can travel directly to St Mark's Square by vaporetto or visit some of the largest islands: Murano, world famous for the art of glass blowing; Burano, famous for its lace and brightly-coloured houses and Torcello, one of the oldest and most prosperous settlements in the lagoon.
REDENTORE: The Redentore Festival takes place on the third Saturday in July. The event commemorates the plague epidemic in 1577 and is the most popular celebration among Venetians. It is still celebrated with a won-derful firework display.
AQUALANDIA: Aqualandia is about 10 km from the campsite, a park on the Adriatic made to resemble a Car-ibbean island with a combination of water slides, fun, extreme sports and water games.
GARDALAND AND LAKE GARDA: Gardaland is the biggest amusement park in Italy, situated about 180 km from the campsite.
TREVISO: Treviso is about 50 km from the campsite. See the characteristic canals in the historical centre formed by the river Sile.

By car

From the Brenner pass or from MIlano (A4 Motorway): exit in Mestre, then follow the road signs to Aeroporto-spiagge ('Airport-beaches'). Head towards Jesolo, and then to Cavallino. The camping is on the road after Cavallino, in the town of Ca' Ballarin.
From Tarvisio (A23 Motorway): follow the road signs to 'Udine-Venezia'. Exit in Noventa di Piave, follow the road signs to Jesolo-spiagge (beaches).

By train

From the railway station of Mestre there is a bus line to Jesolo Lido. In Jesolo Lido you have to change bus, and take one to Punta Sabbioni, getting off in Ca'Ballarin.
From the railway station of Venice there are two possibilities: going to Piazzale Roma and taking the bus to Jesolo and then to Punta Sabbioni, or going to San Zaccaria/Pietà to take the motorboat to Punta Sabbioni. From Punta Sabbioni you have to take the bus to Jesolo Lido and get off in Ca'Ballarin.

By plane
From airport Marco Polo in Tessera-Venezia you have to take the bus to Jesolo Lido, then one to Punta Sabbioni, getting off in Ca'Ballarin.
