Description of the campsite
The camping has 123 pitches for campers, caravans or tents. The dimension of each pitch is 9 x 10 m. and it has electrical connection of 6 amps. The pitches are surrounded by hedges, which provide an atmosphere of privacy. There is also a water loading and unloading area on the campsite.
In addition to the pitches, the camping also offers a number of mobile homes that can accommodate up to five people. They are equipped with two bedrooms, bathroom with shower and toilet, furnished kitchen, refrigerator, air conditioning and a garden or veranda with garden furniture.
The camping is equipped with numerous services, including three large swimming pools. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available to users. For sports enthusiasts, two tennis courts and a ping pong table. Nearby you will find many routes for cycling and walking. In high season, the entertainment team will ensure your children have an unforgettable day. The playground is equipped with a slide, swing and other features. The pool bar is ideal for brunches, aperitifs and in the evening offers a pizzeria service. The market will offer a hot food service and many local products.
Camping Village la Chiocciola is the ideal base for visiting Florence (62 km), Siena (32 km), Arezzo (25 km) and the Chianti vineyards. Other cities of historical and scenic interest such as Cortona, Lake Trasimeno, Pienza, the Crete Senesi, Assisi, Spello, Perugia are also easily reachable.
