What a dream location. The sea is crystal clear and a gorgeous turquoise colour. Want to really relax on your holiday? Then this is the place to do it! Although….there’s lots to do here as well. With entertainment for kids and water sports adventures for teens and adults. In short, this is a lovely place for an unforgettable holiday for all the family, or just the two of you.

Camping Capo d’Orso is located in Capo d’Orso, just 5 kilometres from Palau. The surrounding area is breathtaking! You’ll be by the turquoise sea on the emerald cost of Sardinia, the Costa Smeralda, in no time at all. It’s the place to be for a relaxing or active sun, sea and sandy beach holiday!

Some tips for your holiday at Capo d'Orso in Palau

  • Explore the La Maddalena archipelago with a lovely boat trip. Enjoy a heavenly lunch on board, wander the old centre of La Maddalena and take those picture postcard perfect snaps by the white beaches of Spargi islands. Stop by Porto Della Madonna to take a refreshing dip in the water!
  • Want a day out with the kids? Go to Gregoland, a free outdoor playground near Porto Cervo. Just watch your children run wild in the amazing play areas. It’s just a 40 minute drive away!
  • For even more aquatic fun take the children to the small scale Aquadream water park near Baia Sardinia. With water slides, loungers and toilets. Kids have been whizzing down the cool, colourful water slides here since 2018!
  • A must see: Bear’s Rock (in Italian: Roccia dell’Orso). The wind has sculpted this giant granite rock into the shape of a bear. It looks out over the sea. So should you….because the view here is amazing!
  • Go to Palau. Admire the historical forts, relax by the sea by Porto Pollo, chill out on Piazza Due Palme and stroll past little shops with hand- made artifacts. Feeling hungry? Choose one of the many excellent restaurants to enjoy delicious fresh fish, pasta, salads or pizza.
  • Lovers of history and archeology take note! Visit the archeological park of Arzachena, It’s 15 kilometres from camping Capo d’Orso.
  • Visit the Saint-Tropez of Sardinia: Porto Cervo. High priced yachts shimmer in the harbour here. Tips: go window shopping around La Piazzetta square, by the boutiques of household names such as, Gucci, Prada and Bulgari. Want an affordable meal? Order a pizza!
