Description of the campsite
Overlooking the Ionian Sea, Riva di Ugento is a Camping Resort set within 32 hectares of ancient pine forest and Mediterranean scrub.
Its fine white sandy beach stretches for kilometres along one of the most enchanting coastlines of Salento, gently sloping into the crystal-clear sea – perfect for families with children and for those who love long walks by the shore.
The spacious, well-kept pitches offer every comfort, including electricity, drinking water and modern facilities with hot showers and self-service laundry. For guests looking for a ready-to-use solution, the Resort also offers fully equipped tents and caravans with kitchen and private bathroom.
Designed for both adults and children, Riva di Ugento features a playground, a private beach and the chance to enjoy water sports such as windsurfing and kitesurfing. From the campsite, scenic trails and cycling routes lead you through the authentic landscapes of Salento.

Sun, sea, wind. Nature strikes in the first place, when one gets to this land stretch in balance between two seas. Salento has its core in the province of Lecce, - a Baroque Florence in Southern Italy – and reaches the provinces of Brindisi over the Adriatic Sea, and Taranto on the Ionian Sea side. The cities and inland towns expressions of the unique Lecce Baroque with Messapi and Salento Grecìa can still be seen. Its language, songs and feasts still show the culture of Graecia Magna.
