Description of the campsite
Camping Fontanelle is a peaceful retreat in Moniga del Garda, surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation and offering stunning views of Lago di Garda and the Sirmione peninsula. Guests can enjoy a holiday immersed in nature and comfort, choosing between spacious pitches for outdoor enthusiasts and mobile homes or bungalows for those seeking more convenience.
Most of the mobile homes are built with eco-friendly materials and feature a bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, fridge, TV, and air conditioning, with final cleaning and bed linen included. Pitches provide electric hookups, shared sanitary facilities, 24-hour showers, coin-operated washers and dryers.
Pools & Relaxation: water slides, children's pool with shallow water, sun loungers, and umbrellas.
Family Fun: playground among olive trees, mini-golf, and summer kids' entertainment program.
Dining: lakeside terrace restaurant serving traditional Italian dishes and pizza, plus beach bar for ice creams, snacks, and drinks.
Extra Comfort: microwaves, travel cots, and high chairs available on request, with bed linen and cleaning included.
Moniga del Garda is on the south-western shore of Lago di Garda, surrounded by hills, olive groves, and vineyards. The area is famous for breathtaking views of the Sirmione peninsula and offers numerous outdoor activities, including hiking, water sports, and nature walks. The lake also features charming villages, local markets, traditional restaurants, and cultural itineraries.
If driving from the Brenner Pass ( A 22 Southbound motorway),Venice(A4 motorway westbound)or the South (A22 motorway northbound) once you reach the Verona area make sure you join the A4 motorway westbound (directions for Milano or Brescia).
If driving from the West (Milano) take the A4 motorway eastbound (signs for Brescia and Venezia).
Exit the motorway in Desenzano del Garda and follow directions to Salo'.
After about 10 km you will reach Moniga del Garda.
Soon after the Moniga del Garda road sign, you will come to a roundabout.
Go straight on, (you will pass the Italmark supermarket on your right)and take the next turning to the right ( Moniga centro ).
You will pass the castle and the church on your right .
Follow the road straight on .You will soon reach the main square (fountain on your left).
Take the turning to the right(near the small souvenir shop)into Via Caccinelli.
At the end of this narrow street , turn right into Via del Magone .Soon after the entrance to Camping Le Brede ( on your right) , turn left into Camping Fontanelle.
