Camping Domaine de l'Etang

Camping Domaine de l'Etang is a small, but cosy campsite beautifully set in nature, near the Loire river and the famous Loire Valley vineyards. It’s a perfect destination for those looking for both some peace and quiet and plenty to see and do. The lovely city of Angers is close by and the area is full of marvelous castles and charming Loire villages. The campsite is also a real paradise for kids, with a pool, kids club and a recreation park next door.

  • If you’re looking to be at one with nature with lots of peace and quiet, then Camping Domaine de l'Etang is an ideal place to spend a great family camping holiday!
  • Feel like a splashing good time? Jump into the modern heated outdoor or covered pool. The little ones have their own special paddling pool!
  • Wine lovers will be in paradise here. The campsite has its own little vineyard. Buy a delicious red, white or rose from reception, to enjoy back at your accommodation.
  • Kids love the pool, playground and little play farm with chickens and goats. The kids club also keeps them busy with lots of fun activities.
  • Don’t fancy cooking tonight? Then head for the campsite restaurant to enjoy tasty local dishes and fabulous Anjou wine.
  • For even more fun for the children, take them to the recreation park next door. Here they can have a blast all day long in the water park, on peddle bikes, trampolines, playing midget golf, table football and on bouncy castles. ( For a fee)
  • The campsite has a strong sense of social responsibility and also has employees with a slight physical or mental handicap to maintain the greenery under supervision. The grounds of the campsite are lovingly kept immaculate!

    We had a lovely time and have now visited the site 5 times over the years. We enjoyed the free carp fishing on site and it's a good place to take small children to with the leasure park next door for kids under ten.
