Description of the campsite

The Domaine Les 2 soleils campsite is located high above Serres in the Hautes-Alpes, in the heart of the Provencal Baronnies. This 3-star campsite is a member of the Ciela Village group.

The Domaine Les 2 Soleils campsite extends over several hectares on the southern flank of the Arambre mountain, in the heart of an oak and pine forest, bordered by a magnificent lavender field to the south. Its location overlooks the Buëch valley, offering extraordinary views of the valley and surrounding mountains.

For your camping vacation in France's Hautes-Alpes region, whether for a romantic weekend away or a family vacation, Domaine Les 2 Soleils is the ideal base for exploring the Méouge gorges and the Parc Naturel Régional des Baronnies Provençales.

With its 98 spacious pitches and quality accommodation, Domaine Les 2 Soleils will satisfy your desire for nature, relaxation and sports. For your aquatic leisure activities, there's an aquatic area with a large pool, paddling pool and slide for children, as well as a solarium with a breathtaking view.

The grocery-snack-bar at the Domaine Les 2 Soleils campsite in Serres opens its doors in July and August for breakfasts, snacks and dinners. You'll find a wide selection of local products to eat in or take away: bread, aperitif boards made from local charcuterie and cheeses on sale in the grocery store, tourtons and croustillous that also delight our vegetarian friends, beers, fruit juices, pasta, jams, honeys, pies, as well as a range of cosmetics.

After a few lengths in the large pool or an aquagym session, it's time to relax. Stretch out on one of our deckchairs by the pool under a parasol, sunbathe on our solarium and enjoy the view while your children have fun in the paddling pool or on the waterslide.

At the Domaine Les 2 Soleils campsite, you can enjoy a wide range of sporting activities on your own, with your family or in a group with our entertainment team: soccer or basketball at the city stadium, volleyball, yoga, muscle toning, table tennis, pétanque, not forgetting our outdoor fitness area and hiking trails starting from the campsite. Please note that some of these activities are only available in July and August.

There are two playgrounds for children to enjoy, as well as Rosalie and Blanquette, the campsite's goat and lamb, who love to cuddle.

When you spend your vacations at the Domaine Les 2 Soleils campsite, you'll benefit from a host of services including wifi, laundry facilities, baby kit rental (bed, high chair, bathtub), gas planchas and fridges. A baby room is also available for washing babies.

The Domaine Des 2 Soleils campsite in Serres is located in the Parc Naturel Régional des Baronnies Provençales, straddling the Drôme and Hautes-Alpes departments. With its forest of pine, oak, juniper, broom, thyme, rosemary and lavender fields, the Domaine Des 2 Soleils campsite is truly in Provence! But the campsite is clinging to the mountainside and surrounded by mountains. At the bottom of the valley flows the Buëch. These are the pre-Alps. A wild and natural territory, with exceptional flora and fauna.

At the crossroads between Grenoble and Marseille and between Gap, Italy and Nyons, the Rhône valley, Serres and the wider Baronnies have long been inhabited and traversed. The citadel of Sisteron, the ruins of castles, keeps and monasteries, and Romanesque bridges remain from this heritage, which you can discover by exploring the many perched villages nestling in the surrounding area.

A visit to a market is a must, to discover local craftsmen and producers. Or visit a farm: lavender, cheese, wool... Producers are often people who love to share their passion and are happy to welcome you.

The Parc Naturel Régional des Baronnies Provençales, with its open-air topography and geology, is a great place to explore. On land: on foot, on horseback, by bike, climbing, via ferrata... In the water: canyoning, at the lake, in the Méouge gorges, on the banks of the Buëch. In the air: paragliding or gliding. Or underground, discovering the depths of the world by caving or via-ferrata. There really is something for every taste and level.

Finally, to end the day in peace, the Parc Naturel Régional des Baronnies Provençales offers you the spectacle of one of the most beautiful skies in France and Europe, thanks to low light pollution. You can admire the sky from the campsite or from the Baronnies Provençales observatory in Moydans.

Arriving from Sisteron, exit the A51 freeway at Sisteron Nord and follow signs for Grenoble. When you reach Serres, turn right 50m after the town entrance sign. Turn right again after a parking lot and drive uphill for 1km. The campsite is on your left.

Arriving from Nyons, Grenoble or Gap, drive through the village of Serres in the direction of Sisteron. After crossing the level crossing, take the second turning on the left. A sign indicates the campsite. Take the second turning on the left again, and drive uphill for 1km. The campsite is on your left.
