The commune of Angles is located in the Pays de la Loire region, to the south of the Vendée department.
30 kilometers south of Roche sur Yon and Sables d'Olonne as well as only 60 kilometers from La Rochelle, it adjoins the beaches of South Vendée (La Tranche sur Mer, Longeville sur Mer, etc.) that it is also called Côte de Lumière.
