Description of the campsite
Les Charmettes is our Superman parc; like the superhero's alter ego Clarke Kent, the parc is quiet and serene around the edges, but delve a little deeper and it really packs a punch! Les Charmettes offers a perfect holiday destination that ticks all the boxes for a great break away.Situated on the west coast of France, near famous places such as Bordeaux, La Rochelle and Cognac, it's a great base for getting out and exploring, and you'll find that there are plenty of activities to keep even the younger ones entertained. If relaxing more locally is your idea of holiday heaven, then head down to the central entertainment complex. Mums and dads can pull up a sunbed next to the vast oudoor pool, whilst the youngsters are guaranteed hours of fun with the splash zones, water slides and many supervised activities, such as water games and even the Rookie Lifeguard course! A full programme of sporting events also runs during the season, so venture away from the pools and you can join in with football, basketball, volleyball or maybe crazy golf!
