Welcome to campsite Domaine Berrua ****, close to the centre of the small traditional village of Bidart on the Atlantic coast, offering a privileged location at the foot of the Pyrenees (South Aquitaine, Pyrénées Atlantiques, France).
More precisely 1 km from the beaches, 4 km from Biarritz, 8 km from Saint-Jean-de-Luz, 30 km from Hendaye on the Spanish border. An exceptional situation for a successful family or friends holiday!
You will find many leisure facilities and infrastructure such as an indoor and heated swimming pool, table tennis table, boulodrome, multisport field. Everything will be within your reach to combine farniente, water sports and discovery of this land of the southwest rich with a cultural identity that is no longer present.
For a successful family holiday, we offer activities and activities adapted for all ages in July/August. You can register your children at the Children's Club where they will participate in many activities with children of their age. Our qualified animators will entertain your children by offering them various activities: painting, singing, coloring, modelling paste, treasure hunt, water games...
For your comfort, the campsite offers services such as a restaurant named La Table du Berrua. It welcomes you in a local and friendly atmosphere where you can enjoy the specialities of the Basque Country (axoa, piperade etc.) while enjoying the theme evenings of the Bidart campsite. That's not all, the Snack Bar la Txalupa, located by the pool, with a very nice terrace, offers pizzas, burgers, fries, pancakes and waffles, all day long to eat on site or take away. Why not sip a little appetizer with some tapas?
During the day in high season, the Txalupa welcomes you warmly on its terrace overlooking the swimming pool, meeting place and relaxation.
You will have access to an area with free WIFI access. 50 m from Domaine Berrua, a shuttle has been set up to allow you to reach the beaches or the centre of the village in July/August.
From camping in Basque Country, tourists will also be able to take a getaway in the interior and visit the towns of Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle or Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port. Visit the Rock of the Virgin, take the train from the Rhune or also visit Hendaye via the cornice. Admire the panorama of the coastal path with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, then continue to the Spanish border a few minutes' drive away.
