Description of the campsite

The campsite Ushuaia Villages l'Oasis5 stars welcomes you from early May to early September. On site enjoy the AY river, the heated pool and its paddling pools for children. In the evening, enjoy the restaurant "l'Ephilia" in season (July and August). We offer every evening takeaway pizzas delivered directly to your rental or location Pastries and bread are available every morning on order at the reception from 8:30 am. Children in July and August will be welcomed every morning of the week at the Castor Club from 10:00 to 11:30. The activities are creative and sporty. Our facilitators will take good care of your children. The club is open to children aged 5 to 12. For relaxation, barbecues and a playground for children are at your disposal by the river with picnic tables. Hikes are marked from the campsite, maps are available for your walk in the countryside. We can also offer you restaurants in the surroundings and give you little tips for visits! Here discover with us the true nature of the Ardèche!



At the Oasis, a family terraced campsite far from any traffic, you will taste thanks to its 34 rentals and 35 pitches with large quiet spaces and the beautiful view offered by the terraces. The swimming pool: Heated with solar panels with its 16x6 m pool, it will welcome you from early May to early September (depending on weather) without forgetting the 2 paddling pools of 20cms and 40cms depth where the little ones can play the many games at their disposal. The river: Directly accessible, the Ay river that borders the campsite is a 1st category fishing river, very clean and safe because it is shallow. A good spot to paddle, build dams or fish for trout at the no-kill spot near the Moulin du Cour. Leisure: Mini golf, volleyball, badminton, boules, ping-pong (with free equipment loan) and multiple guidebooks for hiking in the surroundings. Also at your disposal: the library (with plenty of books for young and old), and board games. Services: We offer you: fresh bread and pastries in the morning, restaurant, snack bar, ice creams, homemade pizza, takeaway meals, washing machine, dryer, free wifi at reception and paid on pitches and rentals. Activities: In July and August from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 11:30 and from 5 to 12 years workshops dedicated to children or to share with family are offered and one evening per week.

- Take the N82 towards Annonay through the col du Grand Bois and Bourg Argental
- At Annonay, take the D578 towards St Félicien / Lamastre
- Go through Quintenas and straight on to St Jeure d'Ay
- At St Jeure d'Ay, take the D6 towards Sarras for approximately 6km
- At the locality called 'La patelle', take the narrow road to the left towards Fourany
- Follow the signs to the campsite

Coming from the A7 motorway:
- Coming from Lyon take the Chanas exit – at Tain l'Hermitage coming from the South
- Take the RN7 to St Vallier
- Cross the Rhône following signs to Sarras
- At the traffic lights in Sarras, take the D6 straight on towards St Jeure d'Ay
- At the locality called 'La patelle', take the narrow road to the right towards Fourany
- Follow signs to the campsite

  • Car : Located in the Haute-Vivarais, the town is easily accessible from the Rhône Valley via the A7 motorway (exit Tain-l'Hermitage or Chanas). It takes about 20 minutes of picturesque climb through the vineyards and orchards to reach the plateau where the village nests.
  • Aircraft: Lyon Saint Exupéry Airport (LYS) is the nearest airport (about 1h05), offering major national and international connections.
  • Train: The stations of Tain-l'Hermitage - Tournon or Saint-Vallier are the closest for TER connections. For the TGV, Valencia TGV (Alixan) station is about 35 minutes' drive away.
