Yes, the dream image you are now imagining is literally copy-pasted to reality. Due to the wooded and hilly ground, a detour around the campsite is already an experience. Swap soft forest floors for cobblestones and step into the enchanting neighboring village of San Baronto.

  • Everyone enjoys their own piece of Tuscan nature at Camping Barco Reale, where the sun regularly finds its way to your glowing cheeks. Due to its elevated position, your eyes are always treated to an award-winning view of the surrounding mountains.
  • Are you overly flabbergasted by the overwhelming natural beauty? To cool off, take a plunge into the swimming pool at the campsite. And the beautiful view from your camping spot over the mountains? That goes along with you to the pool.

    Some tips for your holiday at Camping Barco Reale in San Baronto

    • The Tuscan nature is a drive-in for cyclists. Rent a bicycle or e-bike at the campsite and start exploring! Up for some more challenges? Take the route between San Baronto and Pistoia and start pushing your cycling calves to the limit!
    • Does music sound like music to your ears? Grab a free transfer to "Villa Rospigliosi", where concert jingles and jams are filling the air every Tuesday night. Beethoven, Chopin and Schubert are just a small selection from the repertoire. Grab a cocktail afterwards at the venue.
    • Within about an hour's drive, you set foot on nearby Tuscan 'big olive' cities such as Florence (50km), Lucca (55km) and Pisa (70km). You have never crossed off this many bucket-list cities in just one vacation!
    • Drive 23 minutes to Pistoia, or 'Little Florence'. The town with the charm of Florence, without the crowds. Walk around the lively piazza with tasty addresses for aperitivo, wander-worthy markets and a beautiful dome of Madonna dell'Umiltà.
