Camping Continental Camping Village

Continental Camping Village (Formerly known as Camping Continental Lido) lies on the shores of Europe's cleanest lake: Lago di Mergozzo. You can jump straight in from its sandy beach. It slopes gently into the clear waters, making it perfectly safe for children. And the view.... amazing! Watch the snow shimmer on the mountain tops in the distance.

Recommended by our region specialist

"On the shores of the shallow Mergozzo lake, close to Lago Maggiore. With a safe beach for kids to play. Lots of fun in the water and entertainment in the open air theatre. In the distance the snow shimmers on the mountain tops."

The surrounding area of Continental Camping Village

Although the land that separates Lago Maggiore from Lago di Mergozzo is just one kilometre wide, they couldn't be more different. Maggiore is enormous. Mergozzo small and shallow. It's rumoured to have the cleanest lake water in Europe. Motor boating and water skiing are not allowed here, but you can surf, swim or canoe.
