"Set on a southern hillside just south of Gap set within pure mountain air. Napoleon once led his army here and now the everyone can enjoy its charms. You must buy some perfume in Gap."

The Route Napoleon is one of the most beauitful routes in south-eastern France. It's not entirely sure if Napoleon did use this route after his exile on the island Elba. On his trip to Paris he was undoubtedly impressed by the beauty of the magnificent mountainous landscape that dominates this region.
