To arrive any day of the week
Decide for yourself how long you want to stay. You don’t have to book a full week as most campsites have a minimum stay of four nights. Sometimes its just two nights and, at the occasional site, only one. You can fit your Channel crossing around your travel to suit yourself. You don’t have to travel straight from the UK to your campsite, we can book your ferry crossing up to 30 days either side of your campsite arrival and departure dates. If you travel on the ferries, there are supplements to pay on the Dover to Calais crossing, as the price is based on accommodation only.

Maximum flexibility
It’s up to you. You can choose how many different campsites you want to visit and the number of nights you want to spend on each. With 360 campsites to make your selection from, the options are endless. You also decide which day of the week you prefer to arrive and depart, For efficiency reasons it may occasionally occur that we have to ask you to change your planned day of arrival or departure. By choosing to travel mid-week you’ll miss all the weekend traffic and you can take as long as you want to over the journey. If you want an overnight stop, just give us a call.

Special requests - we like to help
If you have special request about your accommodation (for example two families to be placed next to one another) we will do our best to help. Whilst we cannot guarantee that these preferences will be honoured we will advise the campsite of your requirements and they will do their best for you. A charge of €5 is made for each preference. Should you have a special need due to a medical problem then we will do our best to guarantee that this is possible but, because of extra work involved, there will be a charge of €27.

TV sport service at your campsite
Well you may be on a holiday, but of course you won't want to miss that important sporting event ( Wimbledon, Roland-Garros, Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, Vuelta a Espana). Often watching a television broadcast at the campsite is even better than back at home. Many campsites have special halls, sometimes even with extra large screens. Whether it's a football match, a cycling event or a Formula 1 race, when this pictogram is shown on your favourite campsite's page you won't have to miss a thing.

Free night in low season, 7 for 6, 7 for 5, 14 for 10 and 21 for 14.
Vacansoleil offers free nights so you have the opportunity to enjoy better prices than ever with a low season holiday. You can have 7 nights accommodation for the price of 5 and 14 for the price of 7.The rules are very simple: the free nights within this offer will be calculated within the cheapest period of your stay. Also, if there are any extra supplements to be paid (for instance local taxes) these will apply for the full duration of your holiday. Some school holidays will fall into special discount periods - don't forget to check this out as it could save you a lot of money. This is just one example of many special offers available. Check the campsite of your choice for the offers that apply.
Pets
Each campsite page shows details of whether or not pets are allowed in your holiday accommodation. You will see all information in the Special Remarks section just after the campsite description. This will include costs, exceptions and if campsites ask money for final cleaning. A number of campsites only allow pets in low season. In some mobile homes pets are not allowed. In a Vacansoleil tent pets are absolutely prohibited.If you book a pitch for your own tent or caravan you are usually allowed to bring your pet. You see the prices in the price schedule. When going abroad a valid identity for a dog is compulsory.

The low season is an ideal time to go on holiday. It's nice and quiet and all the important facilities are open. What's even better is that we have more space in the pool!
If Vacansoleil says: “swimming pool 15/5 - 15/9” or “restaurant 1/4 - 31/10” you can be sure that it is open during that period - guaranteed!
If a campsite has several swimming pools, at least one of these will be open during the period mentioned. Guaranteed!
