Tibidabo amusement park

A nostalgic amusement park on top of the Tibidabo mountain. Escape the bustle of the city and enjoy attractions, some of which date from the early 19th century! The view over the city and sea is amazing here and the attractions have been adapted to maximise that fact. The best known attraction is the red plane which flies in a circle above Barcelona. Due to its high location, the park is best reached by public transport.

Some tips about eating and drinking in Barcelona

  • Spanish people have dinner late, maybe later than you are used to. They do take into account that Barcelona attracts a lot of tourists, but don't be surprised if restuarants are still closed at 18.00 hours.
  • Take your time over lunch and dinner, just like the Spanish do. Lunch can easily take all afternoon.
  • Pay close attention to where Spanish people eat, there's a good chance that you can find the best tapas there.

Eating with children

Eating out in Barcelona is a real feast for all, including the children! There are so many types of tapas on offer you’re guaranteed to find something to suit everyone’s taste. You can take a nice picnic in one of the many parks in the city… why not purchase some goodies at the covered market in Las Ramblas and enjoy a very tasty picnic!
