The Provence is known for its rosé, but good quality red and white wines are also produced here. The official Route des Vins de Provence takes in more than 300 vineyards and wine cellars and every variety of wine has its own specific taste and unique characteristics.
Look out for the AOP marking (Appelation d’Origine Protégée) for the growers in the Côtes de Provence!
