The Vacansoleil-DCM Pro Cycling team is aiming for Victory!
Vacansoleil considers cycling as a sport people are fond of and we want to offer young, talented cyclists the chance to race at a professional level.
We are pleased to be able to take up this challenge and our team will sport the Vacansoleil logo for the public to see. Our goal is to create a solid team that will contribute to this sport with the team motto of 'sporting, transparent and ambitious'. Everyone has seen that we did well last year and reached our goal.
The Vacansoleil-DCM Pro Cycling Team is made up of a mixture of young and experienced riders. The majority of them are Dutch, Belgian and Italian, with riders from several other countries. As we use the team to promote Vacansoleil, we prefer riders from countries where there are Vacansoleil sales offices, although we also sign talented riders from other countries.
After two successful years we want to move forward and are now aiming higher than ever before. From January 2011 the Belgian company DCM will be an active sponsor of the team. This is why for 2011 the team will be racing under the name of Vacansoleil-DCM Pro Cycling Team.
