You may contact us by telephone if you have any additional comments.
Well you may be on a holiday, but of course you won't want to miss that important sporting event (Wimbledon, Roland-Garros, Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, Vuelta a Espana). Often watching a television broadcast at the campsite is even better than back at home. Many campsites have special halls, sometimes even with extra large screens. Whether it's a football match, a cycling event or a Formula 1 race, when this pictogram is shown on your favourite campsite's page you won't have to miss a thing.
Suitable for wheelchair users
Some campsites are less suitable than others, for example some of them have steep roads up to the accommodation or perhaps lots of steps. More and more campsites pay heed to the needs of people using a wheelchair. To Vacansoleil at least the sanitary block, the restaurant and the swimming pool should be accessible, without any obstacles, in order to qualify for this pictogram. You should bear in mind that a mobile home is less suitable for wheelchair users because of its high entrance. Tents are better as they are at ground level, although the floor of the type Ottawa is about 15cms above ground level. We hope this pictogram will help you choose the right campsite with good accessibility to the facilities.
This symbol denotes the campsites that offer baby packs. The pack comprises of a cot, high chair and baby bath and costs € 5,50 per night. Availability is limited so don't forget to book your baby pack when making your reservation.
Cycle trips from the campsite
Cyclists like to practice their hobby during their holidays too. That is why Vacansoleil has selected a number of campsites particularly suitable for cyclists. For example, campsites with beautiful cycle routes nearby, those that have special cycle paths or ones located close to famous mountain climbs that are included in the big races. Campsites that have any of these are depicted by this pictogram.
WiFi on the campsite
A wireless connection is so convenient so that you can use your own laptop or iPhone and very easy to keep in contact with home and not miss any important e-mails. These days many campsites offer Wi-Fi, usually at a central point on the site. If so, this is shown in the campsite information. Please note that Wi-Fi is not always free of charge.
A pictogram of a Vacansoleil t-shirt means that Vacansoleil team members are present at this campsite. This will be during high season and sometimes also in low season. They are always ready to help you when needed or if you have a problem.
Mobile homes with airconditioning
To Vacansoleil a comfortable mobile home also means a pleasant inside temperature. So, more and more mobile homes are equipped with an air conditioning. Campsites that have accommodation with airconditioning are denoted by this pictogram. Sometimes you have to pay a surcharge for its use.
Most of our campsites provide a fun-filled entertainment program in high season. Ones with this pictogram have the Vacansoleil Camping Kids entertainment package.
An entertainment program for the whole family, but also with activities especially for adults. Think about themed entertainment, evening shows, bingo and much more. If you see this pictogram displayed at the campsite of your choice, the whole family can enjoy the professional Camping Family program.
The Vacansoleil entertainment program called Campingforyou! lets you be active and sporty with friends of your own age. Campsites displaying this pictogram offers a varied entertainment program.
