• You can visit Leuk and then travel upwards to Leukerbad, a spa village for many years with all manner of thermal baths and endless walking routes alongside mountain streams and lakes. A bit further away is the vast Aletsch glacier.
• On the other side of the wide Rhône valley you can visit Zermatt that is situated at the foot of the famous Matterhorn. You have to park your car at Täsch and take a train for the section to Zermatt.
• Another interesting trip is to the famous Saas Fee.
• For children, a boat trip on the St. Léonard underground lake is very exciting.
