Campsite Eurocamping, Sant Antoni de Calonge

When the cheerful Eurocamping train (tractor) drives through the village, everyone can see the smiling faces of the people from the campsite on their way to the beach. Quite handy if you have lots of things to take to the beach but as its only 300 metres away, its not really far to walk anyway. If you stay at the campsite there are plenty of facilities for your enjoyment. There are four excellent pools, sports field, a tennis court, a playground and a well equipped fitness room. The campsite is well cared for with lots of flowerbeds and the animation team make every effort to make the atmosphere a fun one.

Between Palamós and La Playa d'Aro lies the small village of Sant Antoni de Calonge. The larger town of Calonge is situated a few kilometres inland with Sant Antoni being the name of the coastal area. The beaches here are just beautiful as the ones further south at Playa d'Aro but are far less crowded. Families with young children will find these beaches ideal. Whilst small, there is still plenty to do in Sant Antoni de Calonge. Friendly terrace bars and pleasant restaurants line the streets and the relaxed Costa Brava atmosphere still lingers in this area. Apart from great family beaches this part of the Costa Brava offers charming villages like Palafrugell, Begur, and La Bisbal. The city of Gerona is not too far away, a town that is often by-passed on the tourist route but has a very attractive town centre and is a good idea for a day trip. Naturally Barcelona is a must for anyone visiting this area.
