Camping La Foce, Valledoria

Camping La Foce is located on the northern coast of Sardinia, in the bay of Vignola. This campsite is around 1km from the city of Valledoria, in a forested area full of eucalyptus trees, and is split into two parts by a small river. The lagoon created by the river looks as though it is from a tropical island with rocks, white beaches and crystal clear waters.

Why camping La Foce?
  • Enjoy swimming, snorkelling and diving.
  • There's a free boat service from the campsite to the beach on the other side of the lagoon.
  • There are excellent facilities including a spacious pool with children's pool, a bar, restaurant, pizzeria and a large playground for children.
  • Low cost airlines fly to Alghero/Sassari airport that is quite close to the campsite.

The surrounding area of camping La Foce, Valledoria

Sardinia is one of the lesser known parts of Europe and has both Roman and Catalonian influences. Visit the city of Sassari with its many narrow Spanish streets. There's a beautiful 13th century cathedral and a charming 17th century fountain. After Sicily, this island is the biggest isle in the Mediterranean measuring almost 25.000km2.

Some tips for your holiday at camping La Foce in Valledoria:
  • More culture can be found in the villages of Sedini and Bulzi and the characteristic natural stone towers of Nuraghi.
  • Ferries depart for Genua and Marseille from nearby harbour of Porto Torres. Plus Olibia has a connection to Livorno and Piombino from the northwest coast.
