Camping Le Ruisseau des Pyrénées, Bidart

This large campsite consists of two parts, which are separated by a road. The high, mainly wooded part is where you will find most of the facilities.

Why camping Le Ruisseau des Pyrénées?
  • There's a lake here which is also suitable for fishing.
  • On the higher part there are two beautiful swimming pools with great waterslides. The third swimming pool is situated on the lower part and there's also a good wellness center with sauna, gym and indoor swimming pool.
  • Camping Le Ruisseau des Pyrénées is situated in a valley between Bidart and Biarritz. A five kilometre long beach runs between the two.

The surrounding area of camping Le Ruisseau des Pyrénées, Bidart

The international surf season opens each year in Biarritz. It's a great sight - all those colourful surfers on the ´Beach of Kings´ in front of the Hôtel du Palais. The hotel was the formerly the villa of Eugenia de Montijo, Napoleon´s III love. There is always something going on here. For example, in June there are beach concerts and in July there's a big folk festival with Pelota Basque matches, a unique and fast ball game. However the main attraction is on August 15th when fireworks are let off from the beach.
