The surrounding area of camping Les Sources, Wattwiller
The Alsace region of France is, in many ways, a very rare part of France. For centuries this land was governed by a large number of different rulers and, even in the last century, there was a change of landowners. German governance can still be recognised in the names of the towns and villages and the way the houses are built. There are a lot of old German-style timber framed houses with iron signs. Between the hills covered in vineyards the old villages hide, while mysterious castles look over the surrounding area from their place on high.
Some tips for your holiday at camping Les Sources in Wattwiller: - The famous 'Witch tower' can be seen in the small town of Thann.
- The nearby city of Mulhouse has a beautiful centre with a lovely zoo and an outstanding railway museum for train lovers.
- The Col du Petit Ballon is very popular with cyclists.

Our view
A French region with German influences, as in the nearby Mulhouse. Lovely campsite with an indoor and outdoor pool, and a private riding school with horses and ponies.
