Situated 1.5km outside Quettehou is the small but lively camping Le Rivage, surrounded by the green countryside. A quiet holiday destination in the fresh Normandy sea air, this is a pleasant family campsite.

Situated in the La Manche area of Normandy, an area rich in history, Quettehou lies on the Cotentin coast. This is the northern part of Utah Beach - one of the beaches that the Allied Forces invaded and could only conquer after a tough battle in 1944. Naturally there are lots of memorials and museums where you can learn about what happened there.

- A different but interesting day out is a visit to the underwater world of 'La Cité de la Mer' in the nearby city of Cherbourg where you can take a guided tour in a real submarine.
