Camping Mer et Soleil, Agde

Camping Mer et Soleil is situated at the Rochelongue quarter, just east of Grau-d'Agde. The campsite is very spacious. The green hedges, the palm trees that are planted everywhere and the flowering oleander bushes give the campsite a pleasant, sunny appearance.

Why camping Mer et Soleil?
  • The lovely swimming pool complex consists of a spacious pool, a children's pool and four slides, the largest of which is around 34m long.
  • There's a huge wellness centre with a sauna, jacuzzi, hammam and much more. Massages are available too.
  • The campsite has a friendly bar/restaurant with a pleasant terrace, a perfect place to enjoy a glass of Hérault wine.

The surrounding area of camping Mer et Soleil, Agde

In Agde you can wander around in 2500 years of history. Situated at the mouth of the Hérault river, this town was well-known even in Greek times. Le Cap d'Agde is a lot more modern and has less character but is still popular with tourists. At the coast you can choose from fine sandy beaches or a rocky coastline.

Some tips for your holiday at camping Mer et Soleil in Agde:
  • There's the well-known water park Aqualand for a fantastic family day out.
  • From Agde there's a road along the narrow dyke which separates the sea from the Bassin de Thau, one of the largest inland lakes along the coast.
  • On the other side of the dyke you'll find Sète, the largest French fishing harbour along the Mediterranean coast. Sète is surrounded by water and its covered market hall is an amazing sight, especially the enormous fish area.
