Camping Le Soleil Fruité, Châteauneuf-sur-Isère
Until recently, camping Le Soleil Fruité was still a fruit orchard. The construction of the campsite was started during 2005, and naturally the name was chosen because of what the land used to be used for.Why camping Le Soleil Fruité?
- Everything on this campsite is brand new including the main building, sanitary facilities and swimming pool.
- The structure of the former fruit orchard has been kept as much as possible and this gives the campsite a pleasant atmosphere.
The surrounding area of camping Le Soleil Fruité, Châteauneuf-sur-Isère
The village Châteauneuf-sur-Isère is located a few kilometres from the A7 motorway, the Autoroute du Soleil. The area is nice, tranquil and very rural.Some tips for your holiday at camping Le Soleil Fruité in Châteauneuf-sur-Isère:
- The mountains of the Vercors range are within easy reach to the east, and this rugged beauty should not be missed when visiting the Drôme. The Ardèche awaits you on the other side of the Rhône valley.
- The surrounding area of the campsite is quite level and therefore well suitable for cyclists of all levels. If you take your bikes with you, you will be able to make some beautiful tours through the vineyards of the Drôme.
- Valence, a historic city with many Roman remains, is worth a visit.
- There are great trips for the kids too like the enchanted wood at Hostun, the Parc Animation in Saint-Donat, the parrot show in Eurre and the three hundred crocodiles in the Ferme aux Crocodiles in Pierrelatte.
