Camping Beau Rivage, La Roque-Gageac
Although it's not easy to find a beach along the Dordogne river, camping Beau Rivage has one! It's an ideal spot for playing, sunbathing and canoeing. The campsite is quiet, with a pleasant atmosphere.

Along the narrow shore between the Dordogne river and the high rocks is La Roque Gageac. This small town began to develop in medieval times when people built along the rock wall. A long, narrow town was created as a result with quaint, colourful streets, majestic manors and a fortress dating from the 12th century.
Some tips for your holiday at camping Beau Rivage in La Roque-Gageac:- On the opposite side is the city of Domme which dates back to the 13th century. It has three city gates and is set on a 150 metre high rock beside the river that offers a fantastic view over the Dordogne.
- Only a few kilometres to the north is Sarlat with its popular weekly market.
- This is the district of Périgord Noir, called 'noir' for the colour of the black truffles that attracts so many food experts to the area. Canoeing is also popular here.

Our view
A small and quiet campsite with its own pebble beach beside the Dordogne river. It's located on a narrow shore near the mediaeval La Roche Gageac. Domme is on the opposite side of the river.
