Camping Domaine Duravel, Duravel

A very pleasant campsite situated in one of the most beautiful spots along the Lot river. You have direct access to the lake for canoeing from the lawned sunbathing area and there's a terrace next to the swimming pools. This terrace really has a wonderful setting, where you can relax and watch the canoes go by.

Why camping Domaine Duravel?
  • There are two nice pools beside the terrace, plus another shallow one for young children.
  • If you feel active, there are many options for sports like tennis and volleyball, or perhaps a game of 'boules' on the large pitch under the evening spotlights. Golfing is possible nearby too.
  • There is professional entertainment on offer every day around a big open fire with shows, soirées etc.
  • Try the campsite's own restaurant, where they serve excellent local food.

The surrounding area of camping Domaine Duravel, Duravel

The campsite is located on the north bank of the Lot river, close to the town of Duravel. The Lot region is a good area for beautiful ruins and castles, but we would recommend the Bonaguil castle in particular - a mighty, medieval stronghold set high on a rock.

Some tips for your holiday at camping Domaine Duravel in Duravel:
  • Nearby Fumel with old squares and friendly terraces, is also beside the Lot. Further on downstream, and also worth a visit, is Villeneuve-sur-Lot.
  • Children will love a day out at the Gramat zoo.
  • For cyclists, mountain bikers and walkers this is a wonderful region, but of course canoeing is the most popular activity around here. Cahors is a good starting point and as you head downstream you'll pass by the campsite.
