On the southern point of the Istrian peninsula is Pula, the oldest city on the eastern Adriatic sea. It was orginally discovered by Romans and has a well maintained amphitheatre which is used for performances during the Pula opera festival in the summer.
Some tips for your holiday at camping Bivillage in Valbandon/Pula: - The pleasant village of Fazana is nearby with its characteristic houses, pleasant cafés, ice cream parlours and shops. There are several friendly restaurants offering a wide choice of fish dishes.
- Opposite Fazana, just off the coast, is the island of Brijuni. This is a national park with beautiful flora and fauna. Amidst eucalyptus, cedar and pine trees you'll find archaeological remains and a small zoo. From Fazana you can take a boat to the island.
- For golfers the campsite is situated close to the only golf course in Istria.

Our view
Close to Pula with a Roman amphitheatre where concerts are performed regularly. A family campsite with good swimming pools. Picturesque Fazana is nearby.
