Camping Lou Pignada
A 5-star campsite in the heart of the green Les Landes. Set in a pine forest, just 1.5km from the wide, sandy beach of Ondes. This part of the coastline is very popular with surfers.
Why camping Lou Pignada?
- The (heated) water park is amazing! It has 3 swimming pools (one indoor), 2 pools for children, 3 waterslides, a whirlpool and a spa.
- Young children will love the Pirate Club and there's a Teens Club for older ones. Exciting and creative activities are on the program here.
- Evenings come alive with dances and shows for the whole family.
- There is a bar/restaurant where you can enjoy a meal out, plus a take-away. Supermarkets are 1km away.
- During July and August there is a free shuttle bus between the campsite and the beach.
The surrounding area:
Les Landes is a special region with its own culture. The Basque influences can be seen in the gastronomy and rituals like 'Pelote Basque' (a ball game). Thanks to the flat landscape, this area is wonderful to cycle around.
Some tips for your holiday at camping Lou Pignada in Messanges:
- The Les Landes coastline is heaven for surfers. Other watersports are popular here too, like stand-up paddle (very trendy), canoeing and kayaking.
- The immediate surroundings are populated by idyllic villages just waiting to be explored. Visit the terraces and markets of Messanges, Mollets, Soustons and Vieux-Boucau.
- Make sure to bring your bike as the Velodyssee cycle path passes through this area. It's a 1200km long network of cycle trails that go as far as Spain.
