Camping La Nublière is located at the most southerly point of Lake Annecy, with direct access to the lake.
Why camping La Nublière?
- The campsite has its own beach with a grassy sunbathing area beside the lake. There's also a raft with a diving platform and a landing stage for your boat. On the beach is a playground for the children.
- You can also learn to surf and sail at the campsite's own marina. Surfboards can be hired on site.
- There's an excellent entertainment and outdoor program of activities at the campsite plus a mini club for the little ones.
- Biles can be hired from the campsite. There's a cycle trail that starts alongside the campsite and runs as far as Annecy at the other end of the lake (approx. 17km).
- Opposite the entrance to the camspite is a restuarant with mini golf and a tennis court.
The surrounding area:
For a carefree holiday at one of the most popular lakes in the French Alps, this is an excellent choice. There's plenty to do around the lake and lots to explore in the surrounding area, with many good day trips to choose from.
Some tips for your holiday at camping La Nublière in Doussard:
- There are several interesting cities in the vicinity of the lake, such as Annecy itself. Visit the castle and the old centre which is full of narrow streets and pretty canals. There are lots of pleasant terraces and eateries and interesting small shops.
- Other nearby cities include Albertville, Chamonix and Genève.
- Enjoy walking, mountain biking, horse riding, rafting or even paragliding in the beautiful mountainous area of the Haute-Savoie.
- Hop on a ferry in Doussard and be taken to Annecy in just a few stops. During the trip you will see many interesting sights, like the small castle of Cezanne.
