Camping Les 3 Lacs du Soleil. Sounds like an attractive campsite doesn't it? Well this little jewel in the Drome is really something special. It's named after the three beautiful lakes that grace its grounds. Delightful campsite!
Why camping Les 3 Lacs du Soleil?
- The largest lake is used for swimming and a waterslide has been built here. In the other two lakes fishing is possible (permission needed by the owner). Fly fishing is especially popular. The water in the lake comes up from the ground and is therefore clear and clean.
- The campsite swimming pool? Is also very inviting. Tough choice:a swim in the crystal clear natural waters or a cool dip in the pool?
- The open aspect of the campsite provides a feeling of space. Built on level ground, the campsite pitches are separated from each other by hedges and reasonably high trees provide green and shade in places.
- There is a grocery shop and a pleasant restaurant. Near this building there is also a mini golf course, an animation field and two tennis courts.
- Feel like a bike ride? To the little fishing lake close by? You can hire both regular and electric bikes at the campsite.
The surrounding area:
In the foothills of the French Alps, 40 kilometres east of Lyon, there is the region known as Dauphiné. Here the landscape is marked by hills and numerous lakes.
