Campsite Iris Parc Le Grand Dague is a lovely family campsite, set in a quiet, green location and yet still close to the city of Perigueux. Its location gives you a wonderful view over the surrounding valleys.

- The aquapark of the largest campsite in the Dordogne has an gigantic 750m2 swimming pool, an extra swimming pool, a hydro massage pool, a lagoon pool with pirate ship, a toddlers pool, water playground and a spectacular waterslide.That's not all,there's also a big sun terrace with sunbeds. So relax and enjoy!
- The focus on this campsite is about your children's enjoyment as well as that of yourself. The entertainment program is top class with daily sports and games provided by professionals throughout the whole season. In the evenings enjoy pleasant music, musicals or Le Grand Dague's Got Talent show. The stage is set in a pleasant square where you can also find the restaurant and bar.
- The big indoor playground will appeal to little ones. Plus there's a multi sports ground, jeu de boules pitch and an air trampoline.
- Many a pleasant evening can be spent on the lovely landscaped terrace by the restaurant where you can take in the French atmosphere and enjoy an excellent meal. It comes highly recommended! Important sporting events are shown on 4 large screens, both indoors and outside.Plus the terrace, bar and restaurant were completely renovated in 2017 so they're even more enjoyable!

The surrounding area:
Périgueux, capital of the Périgord (the former name of the Dordogne region) is a successful mix of old and new. The city was founded in 16BC and it seems as though time has stood still here with the narrow streets and impressive cathedral. The campsite is so close to this lovely town that you can easily go there several times during your stay.

- Périgueux is a place where there's always a party to be found, whether it's the flower festival in spring, the mime festival in August or the singing contest for the silver truffle.
- Lovers of culture and history will enjoy the many excursions available nearby. Visit Bergerac by the Dordogne, Brantome (also known as the Venice of the Périgord) or the caves of Villars.
- Stroll through the narrow streets of Sarlat and stop at one of its cosy town squares to but fresh fruit from the market on a Wednesday and Saturday. You'll also find that perfect souvenir here!
- Last but not least - you simply cannot leave the Dordogne region without a canoe trip for the hole family.
