Camping Aux Rives du Soleil has a pleasant climate and is located on the border of southern Burgundy and the Ain, not far from the lovely city of Mâcon and only a few kilometres from the Autoroute du Soleil. This charming campsite offers everything you could need for a lovely holiday with the family. Great for kids aged 14 and under.
Why camping Aux Rives du Soleil?
- There's a good swimming pool with separate children's pool.
- This campsite is ideal for families with small children. There's an entertainment program in high season for all ages and lots of games for the younger children.
- Children can enjoy in-line skating, darts and table tennis free of charge. There is also a large play lawn where children hang out all the time.
- The campsite is located on the banks of the Saône.
- The sanitary building has recently been renewed.
The surrounding area:
The flat countryside of the Ain and the hills of the Mâconnais and the Beaujolais have a beautiful mix of castles, abbeys and charming villages. This area remains totally unspoilt. Enjoy a couple of days in Burgundy before continuing your journey south.
Some tips for your holiday at camping Aux Rives du Soleil in Pont-de-Vaux:
- You cannot fail to notice all the wine routes in this region. Visit one of the many vineyards or Châteaux for a tasting session. Buying a bottle from a vineyard is totally different from getting one in a supermarket.
- The countryside around Pont-de-Vaux is ideal for cycling and fishing. Why not combine the two.
- There are plenty of places to go fishing.
