What do the pictograms mean?

Often watching a television broadcast at the campsite is even better than back at home. Many campsites have special halls, sometimes even with extra large screens. Whether it's a football match, a cycling event or a Formula 1 race, when this pictogram is shown on your favourite campsite's page you won't have to miss a thing.	Air conditioning To Vacansoleil a comfortable mobile home also means a comfortable temperature indoors. So, more and more mobile homes are equipped with an air conditioning. You can recognise the campsites where we offer accommodation with aircon by this pictogram. Sometimes you have to pay a surcharge for its use. If this is the case, details are shown in the pricing panel on each campsite page.
Special attention for wheelchair users When you need to use a wheelchair you have the same right to a holiday as anyone else. However some campsites are less suitable than others, for example some of them have steep roads up to the accommodation or perhaps lots of steps. More and more campsites pay heed to the needs of people using a wheelchair. To Vacansoleil at least the sanitary block, the restaurant and the swimming pool should be accessible, without any obstacles, in order to qualify for this pictogram. You should bear in mind that a mobile home is less suitable for wheelchair users because of its high entrance. Tents are better as they are at ground level. It's the ultimate freedom of arriving and departing whenever you like, without an advance reservation. Baby packs This symbol denotes the campsites that offer baby packs. The pack comprises of a cot, high chair and baby bath and costs € 4,50 per night. Availability is limited so don't forget to book your baby pack when making your reservation. .	Video Photographs tell a lot, but a video clip tells even more. To give you a good idea of what your campsite if really like, we make short video clips that you can view on our website. You can recognise these campsites by this pictogram. Unfortunately not all campsites have this pictogram but, by the end of summer 2008, almost every campsite will have its own video clip. We add new campsites to our program every year. Video clips of these will be added as soon as possible.
Highly trained personnel A pictogram of a Vacansoleil t-shirt means that Vacansoleil team members are present at this campsite. This will be during high season and sometimes also in low season. They are always ready to help you when needed or if you have a problem.
